Bibliotonic Youth is a one-on-one bookseller consultation for kids and teens, hosted in-store at Harry Hartog Bookseller.

Through a series of questions, our specialist bookseller will be able to recommend books specifically for the child or teen, keeping them motivated to read and on-track for all the benefits a love of books bring. Studies have shown that kids who regularly read for fun outperformed non-readers in vocabulary, spelling and mathematics, and with the number one barrier being “it’s hard to find a good book,” a Bibliotonic experience is the perfect solution.

They will leave with a list of recommended reads, an armful of books, and an enhanced appreciation of their reading journey, and where it will take them next.

After completing a short questionnaire online (which you can fill in on their behalf), the participant will be matched with a specialist bookseller and a time made for their Bibliotonic experience. Each Bibliotonic experience takes place at one of our beautifully curated shops, with children’s sessions running for approximately 15 minutes. The Bibliotonic Voucher is then redeemable against the equivalent cost of books in-store ... and their reading adventure is truly underway.
